As an SAP ABAP Developer, you will work closely with a team of ABAP developers, SAP functional analysts and stakeholders across the organization to accomplish the following:

• – Provide consultation for, prepare for, and help facilitate an S4 implementation
• – Help lead change in ABAP development practices and processes
• – Facilitate the implementation of testing frameworks and methodologies
• – Develop and maintain standards and best practices
• – Ensure established standards and software development processes are followed
• – Perform and ensure unit tests, functional tests, and regression tests are completed
• – Perform code reviews
• – Respond to and resolve system failures and performance issues
• – Prepare design documents and other technical documentation to support the business applications

Candidate should have experience with the following:

• – 3 years or more of experience in ABAP programming language is required
• – Solid ABAP development background: Classic reporting, ALV, Dialog Transactions, Data Dictionary, Complex ABAP-SQL, Debugging, Root-Cause Analysis, SAP Notes search and implementation
• – Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• – Strong knowledge of automated unit testing, functional testing and integration testing; ABAP Unit, ABAP Test Cockpit, SAP Code Inspector
• – Experience with SAP functionalities such as BADI, User-Exits, Customer exits, Implicit and Explicit Enhancement and interfacing solutions such as BAPI, RFCs and ALE/EDI Idocs.
• – Excellent understanding of IT and architecture best practices.
• – An ongoing thirst for new knowledge and ideas, and a desire to share
• – Ability to be innovative and seek new approaches to old problems
• – Ability to understand the long-term (“big picture”) and short-term perspectives of situations
• – Strong planning, organizational skills including ability to work on multiple, concurrent projects
• – Strong drive for meeting delivery schedules and project timelines
• – Understanding of key business trends to ensure proper alignment of application development with the business technology
• – Able to work independently with end users and stakeholders in the business
• – Good communication skills in English

• – ABAP Unit, ABAP Test Cockpit, SAP Code Inspector,
• – Object oriented ABAP
• – Adobe Forms
• – SAP NetWeaver, Fiori, SAPUI5
• – Experience with SAP eWM
